Questions We May Ask!

To kick things off, tell us a little about yourself — what you do, how you got started in this field, and the journey that led you to where you are today.

What do you see as some of the biggest difficulties in your area of work?

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about your area of work?

What is something you wish you had known before you got into this field?

What is something that happens behind the scenes that you wish clients could see?

What is the ONE thing you would want listeners to walk away knowing about you and your business?

Are there any specific topics or areas of your business that you’d like to highlight?

What topics are most important for you to share with our listeners today?

Is there anything you’re currently working on or excited about that you’d like us to dive into?

Are there any questions you wish interviewers would ask you, but rarely do?

Did You Know This About

Kenneth Alston?

I’m Ken Alston — a systems thinker, sustainability strategist, and lifelong learner with over 40 years of experience helping companies, governments, and leaders redesign for a circular economy.

But before any of that — I’m a father of two incredible daughters and a proud grandfather to a bright, curious granddaughter. They’re why I do this work.

For me, sustainability isn’t abstract — it’s personal. It’s about ensuring the systems we build today don’t rob future generations (of all species) of possibility, dignity, or life.

Through frameworks like Design Like Nature™ and the 3D Tactical Tetrahedron™, I help leaders reconnect with what really matters — and build companies that serve both people and the planet.

The Circularity Catalyst Podcast is my way of creating space for deeper conversations — ones that move beyond buzzwords into what it really means to lead regeneratively, with clarity, sovereignty, and soul.

Did you also know I have a YouTube video with over 65,500 views — and that I once owned over 2,000 Japanese maple trees? This picture was taken on an expedition to a remote orchid farm in Colombia, South America.
